Artist Bio
Chelsea Sphere is a multidisciplinary circus artist and coach based in Palm Springs, CA. She was born a dancer and excelled in gymnastics and lyrical jazz in younger years. High school theater also helped prepare her for the stage, and she began training circus and aerial arts in 2011. Shortly after, she helped launch a grassroots performance troupe: Flowbox. She has been growing as a professional entertainer and coach ever since, taking over as Director & Producer of Flowbox in 2021. Chelsea has performed at a wide variety of events, hosted circus workshops and aerial classes throughout the American Southwest for over a decade. She has had the honor of sharing the stage with acts such as Snoop Dogg, Slightly Stoopid, and Liquid Stranger.
Driven by a passion for storytelling through creative movement, she strives to share circus arts with the community in an effort to inspire and empower people to express their highest selves. Marrying modern dance and acrobatics together with object manipulation, she creates unforgettable experiences for audiences and students alike.
